2024 - RNLI
During 2024, the Marine Tavern are proudly supporting the RNLI.
Money is raised by generous donations, £18 per week from our bonus ball lottery and other events throughout the year.
To date, we have raised: £1143.26
2023 - Royal British Legion
The Management team at Marine Tavern, along with a number of regular patrons, have partnered together and volunteer as Poppy Appeal Organisers for Brighton & Hove.

2023 - Brighton Food Bank
The new landlord's, Paul Thorn & Craig Harwood, supported Brighton Food Bank from September 2023 to January 2024 as the chosen charity for Marine Tavern. All funds obtained from the Marine Tavern's charity events, bonus ball and other events had been be donated to the cause.
We have raised:

2019 - Lunch Positive
Lunch Positive was chosen by the patrons of Marine Tavern as the 2019 charity.
With a series of fancy dress themed fun filled evenings, and a spontaneous joint head shave live on stage (Raising £255 in just 1 hour), Marine Tavern helped raise funds, awareness and support for Lunch Positive.
Collectively, it is estimated that £2345 was raised within 2019!
2018 - Mind out
Mind Out was selected as for the chosen charity in 2018, with multiple in-house events and several external events, we raised a healthy amount of essential funds for this well needed cause.
The total raised from the 100km 3-day cycle ride across the South Downs and the monumental Brighton to Paris in 24 hours (and back in 48 hours) raised £2433!
2016 - 2017 - rockinghorse appeal
The Marine Tavern hosted a variety of events including a series of Dragon Boat Races, Paintball matches and several charity based events within the Marine Tavern itself all in aid of raising vital funding for The Rockinghorse Appeal.
Collectively, we raised over £3169.46 solely during these events, with much more raised generated by kind donations into the charity pots on the bar.#
